SAGS Student Council and PTO are excited to announce two upcoming family activities! Bingo and Chili Night will be Friday, January 26th and a Family Dance on Friday, February 9th! Please use the QR codes on the flyers that will be sent home to RSVP.
On Wednesday, January 10, 2024, we will continue our next Drop Everything And Read event by hosting Team Up For Reading! The students and staff members are asked to wear ANY team apparel- professional or other. Jerseys or any clothing item with a team logo are encouraged. This reminds us that reading can be a TEAM effort! Support your favorite team on Wednesday, January 10th- to help us celebrate reading!
Preschool Screenings for 2024-2025 school year enrollment are coming up! Any child that will be 3 by Sept. 1st, 2024 can be screened! Children that turn 5 before Sept. 1st, 2024 will go to Kindergarten.
Last week, the 5th graders finished their 12 days of Christmas kindness challenge. Some of the kindness activities they did included cleaning the school, helping around the house, reading to Kindergarten students, kind letters to staff and family members, helping teachers, kindness stockings, kindness posters, Toys for Tots donations, and care packages for the St. Anne Police, Fire Department, and Postal workers. Giant Proud.

On the 12th Day of SAGS Christmas Spirit Dress Up Days, SAGS is going Polar Express. On Friday, December 22nd Wear Pajamas, Slippers, Robes, or Dress Up as a Conductor.

Mrs. Kirkland's 3rd grade had a great time working with Mrs. Arthur and Mrs. Schneider's Kindergarten classes to help guide and lead them in building gumdrop towers as part of a STEM challenge. It was a great time of collaboration during the Christmas season!

Channel Your Flannel & SAGS Family Literacy Night 2023 was once again a GIANT success. Thank you to Mrs. Kraft and her team for organizing this amazing night. Thank you to all the volunteers including the SAGS PTO. There is nothing better than family reading fun!!
Mrs. McDaniel and Ms. Goodrich's 5th-grade classes have been completing 12 days of kindness throughout December. As part of that aspect, they put together and delivered a box of goodies to the post office. Giant Proud!! Great Job 5th Grade!!

Last week students from 3rd-8th participated in the I-KAN STEAM Challenge. Students had numerous Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math challenges to complete. They all worked well together as a team! We are GIANT proud of them!
